Action dialogue on poverty, inequality and sustainable development in Africa and beyond

The HSRC and its social partners cordially invite you to attend the first of many Action Dialogues which the HSRC will present over the coming months.  The first Action Dialogue will take place on Thursday, 31 March 2016 at Kievits Kroon Country Estate & Spa, Pretoria.

It is the mandate of the HSRC to ‘stimulate public debate through effective dissemination of research based data and fact-based research results. The purpose of this dialogue is to better understand the far-reaching consequences of poverty, inequality for the well-being and life chances affecting the citizens of Africa, our BRICS counterparts and beyond.

Our first Action Dialogue is aptly titled: Action Dialogue on Poverty, Inequality and Sustainable Development in Africa and Beyond. The three broad focus areas of the Action Dialogue encompass the multiple dimensions of Economic Prosperity, Social Progress as well as Governance and Decision-Making.
