We the Nation: What’s behind South Africa’s service delivery failures?

South Africa`s state has struggled to deliver quality services for all its citizens despite significant public spending. Crime levels are higher than expected because of the level of public spending on police, safety and protection services. What is really behind these service delivery failures?

The HSRC’s Prof Narnia Bohler-Muller participated in a lively discussion on this topic on eNCA’s We the Nation.
