Minister in the Presidency, responsible for Women, Bathabile Dlamini will deliver a keynote address at a seminar on Landless women of South Africa: expropriation of land without compensation.
The seminar which takes place on Tuesday, 14 August 2018 is organized by the Human Sciences Research Council (HSRC) as an attempt to add the voices of women in the current debate of landlessness and expropriation of land without compensation.
The discussion which will be led by Minster Dlamini will focus on the current challenges faced by women to access land and own the land. One of the key objectives is to engage on the lack of property rights and how this has contributed to the exclusion of women from economic participation.
