The Human Sciences Research Council, working with Cape Town-based company biNu, has conducted a sentiment analysis following the Springbok win at the 2019 Rugby World Cup to assess the impact on social cohesion and positivity in the country.
The survey was conducted over four days amongst users of the popular #datafree Moya Messenger platform which has 1.5 million users in South Africa and elicited responses from 6,945 survey respondents.
