The First Africa Gender Summit and event took place at the ICC. It was hosted by the Human Science Research Council. Various issues was discussed under various themes but of course the summit was held under the theme “Poverty alleviation and economic empowerment through scientific research and innovation: better knowledge from and of Africa”.
