The South African Democratic Teachers Union (SADTU) welcomes the plan by the DBE to move from only focusing on HIV prevention amongst learners through the Life Skills Education Programme towards new policy to target a larger audience representing all levels within the educucation arena to mitigate the effects of HIV pandemic at every sector.
