The Adult Clinical Examination data is now curated!

The South African National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey (SANHANES) was conducted in 2011-12 as a first survey series to address the changing health and nutritional needs in the country for all age groups. In providing baseline data for future longitudinal analysis, this study supplies the National Department of Health with much needed critical information to evaluate the health status of South Africans. The survey looks at the  prevalence of non-communicable diseases (NCDs) and their risk factors, as well as  nutrition status as an outcome of food security, dietary intake/behaviour, including the consumption of alcohol and body weight management.
