The Human Sciences Research Council (HSRC) is conducting a study on behalf of the Department of Science, Technology and Innovation (DSTI) to evaluate the effectiveness, relevance and usefulness of their Science, Engineering and Technology (SET) career publications and to understand how these resources support subject and career decision-making.

We are inviting STEM students at South African universities and colleges to participate in a short online survey (15–20 minutes). Your insights will contribute to improving national STEM career guidance materials and supporting future learners in making informed academic and career choices.

Participation is voluntary, and all responses will remain confidential. A small number of participants will be invited to take part in a follow-up online interview.
