The Minister of Science, Technology and Innovation hereby invites interested parties to nominate candidates to be considered for appointment to the Human Sciences Research Council (HSRC) Board in line with section 5 of the HSRC Act, 2008 (Act No. 17 of 2008).

Nominations should be submitted to the Minister of Science, Technology and Innovation no later than 4 July 2025. Please email nominations to Boardappointment2@dsti.gov.za, accompanied by the candidate’s curriculum vitae, including the following information: Full names, identity number, gender, race, current designation and responsibilities, contact details (postal and email addresses, cellular and landline numbers), qualifications, current and past service on boards, areas of expertise, and the names and contact details of at least two referees.
