DA MP says figures released are from a limited sample used for verification, not the overall ones.

Basic Education Minister Angie Motshekga says she is “saddened, but not shocked”, at the results of the countrywide numeracy and literacy assessment tests – which a teachers’ union has described as overwhelming evidence of a failing education system.
