100 Days of SA National lockdown | Professor Narnia Bohler-Muller weighs in

On March 23, President Cyril Ramaphosa announced that a countrywide lockdown would come into effect on March 26. The lockdown was the government’s intervention to prevent the spread of COVID-19. The lockdown was extended several times and the country is now under Level 3, with the economy and schooling reopening in phases. South Africa is currently on the top 20 list of coronavirus infections worldwide.  Now to talk to us about the impact of the lockdown we are joined via Skype by Professor Narnia Bohler-Muller,  Executive Director of Human Sciences Research Council’s Research Programme on Democracy, Governance and Service Delivery.
