Leslie Bank and Ndipiwe Mkuzo, from the EPD at the HSRC will host a seminar conversation with Robert Edgar and Luyanda ka Msuma, authors of

The seminar will explore the intellectual and political development of A.P Mda as a leading figure in the history of African nationalism in South Africa. It will also focus on Mda’s engagements, and ultimate rejection, of Cape liberalism and communism?

Furthermore, questions will be posed about the meaning of his work for the current debate about land and decolonization in South Africa.
