Harvard-HSRC symposium on spatiotemporal innovation

In collaboration with the Harvard Center for Geographic Analysis, the Geospatial Analytics unit of the HSRC’s eRKC will host a symposium on spatiotemporal innovation.

The symposium will discuss spatiotemporal data analysis and case studies for application across various fields, including:

  • Public health
  • Big data and social media data analysis in social sciences
  • Remote sensing applications in social sciences
  • Environmental science
  • Statistical analysis using machine learning algorithms: applications in social
    sciences.
    The workshop will offer an excellent opportunity for participants to network,
    collaborate, and further develop their domain knowledge and leadership skills.
    Themes/Topics for the Workshop
    i. An introduction to the proposed workflow-based tools: KNIME Analytics
    Platform, KNIME Server and KNIME WebPortal
    ii. Open data access, integration, online data sharing and visualization
    iii. Spatiotemporal analysis with geospatial analytics for KNIME
    iv. Artificial Intelligence analysis for spatiotemporal data
    v. Workflow-based remote sensing analysis
    vi. Spatiotemporal analysis with social media data
    vii. Spatiotemporal analysis with healthcare data
