Over the years, the Africa Geospatial Forum, organised by Geospatial Media & Communications, has emerged as the premier annual conference for the African geospatial industry. As geospatial technology continues to grow in importance and influence in Africa, this conference plays an integral role in keeping the professionals and users across the country connected and educated. Africa Geospatial Forum has been successful in bringing together the geospatial community of Africa and discussing and deliberating upon the usage of Geospatial Technologies across the various economic sectors in the region. Since its inception in 2006, it has been successfully organised in South Africa from 2006-2010 and 2013, in Kenya in 2011, in Ghana in 2012 and in Nigeria in 2014.
