Mr Musa Hlungwani

Mr Hlungwani is a Junior Researcher currently appointed in the HSRCâ??s Equitable Education and Economic research division. He holds a bachelor's degree, an honours degree and a master's degree in Development Studies from the University of Limpopo where his dissertation focuses on the Contributions of Agricultural Cooperatives towards Local Economic Development in Rural Areas. Mr Hlungwani worked for the National Research Foundation and also held the position of Rural Development Planner hired by the Belgium Technical Cooperation under Participatory Settlement and Development Support to Land Reform. Within the HSRC, he worked on various divisions including CeSTII working on the Business Innovation Survey 2014-2016 and Agricultural Innovation Survey 2016-2018 as well as in the Barriers Study under the HSC division. His interest in sustainable development, rural development/economies/livelihoods and local economic development and Innovation.
