W20 Summit delegates to sound the kudu horn at the JSE to promote financial inclusion and entrepreneurship for women worldwide

Johannesburg, Thursday 9 October 2025 — Members of the media are invited to attend a breakfast session with Women20 delegates and the CEO Circle at the Johannesburg Stock Exchange (JSE), Africa’s largest stock exchange that connects international investors with investment opportunities across the continent, ahead of the official opening of the W20SA Summit. Organised in collaboration with the JSE, Global Summit of Women and City of Johannesburg, the event will be held at the JSE, Sandton, on Monday, 13 October  2025 from 07h30am to 10h30am.

The session will feature a ceremonial segment where W20 Summit delegates sound the kudu horn during a market open at the JSE, shining a light on financial inclusion and entrepreneurship for women worldwide, aligning with the W20 Summit’s objectives.

As a B20 sponsor and active contributor to several G20 working groups, the JSE is proud to host and support the W20, underscoring the bourse’s commitment to inclusive economic development and the advancement of women in leadership and business across Africa.

The CEO Circle features:

  • Irene Natividad – President of the Global Summit of Women.
  • Maria Ariza – CEO, Bolsa Institucional de Valores (BIVA) (Mexico)
  • Elif Çapçı – CEO & Board Member, Beymen Group (Türkiye)
  • Niroshma Chetty – CEO, Engie Africa: Avon and Dedisa Peaking Power (South Africa)


The W20SA Summit, themed, Women in Solidarity towards a Just Future, will take place from 12–14 October 2025 at the Vivari Hotel and Spa, Johannesburg. The summit aims to advance gender equality and women’s economic empowerment, bringing together global leaders, researchers, policymakers, and civil society representatives.

As an official engagement group of the G20, Women20 (W20) promotes gender equality and women’s economic empowerment. The summit will provide a platform for women from diverse backgrounds to advocate for policies and programmes that promote women’s economic empowerment and social justice.

Delegations from Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Cameroon, Canada, Egypt, the European Union, France, Germany, Ghana, Japan, Kenya, India, Indonesia, Italy, Mexico, Nigeria, Lesotho, Zambia, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, the United Kingdom, the United States of America and Zimbabwe are expected to attend the Summit.
