There can be no good theory of change without a theory of how change happens.”

Theory of change (TOC) has entered swiftly and forcefully into the practice of international development and governance. It has important innovations to add to how we do development planning. But theory of change is both a product and a process, and loses it’s value if we only think about the product.   This talk will highlight the benefits that TOC can add to programme design and evaluation.

Presenter Profile:
Dena Lomofsky has been working in International Development for 20 years and is a managing member of Southern Hemisphere. She specialises in participatory programme design, planning and evaluation.
