The Chronic Poverty Advisory Network is a successor to the Chronic Poverty Research Centre, of which South Africa was a partner. The seminar will present findings from two published policy guides on Addressing Chronic Poverty (agriculture and education) and three policy guides in process (energy, employment and Middle Income Countries). It will also refer to a Challenge Paper, ‘what has happened to the other 50%?’ The presentation will draw out some of the findings relevant to South Africa.
