SEMINAR ON XI JINPING THOUGHT AND OFFICIAL LAUNCH OF THE NEW BOOK XI JINPING: THE GOVERNANCE OF CHINA II

You are kindly invited to attend a dialogue which will assess the key outcomes of the 19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China (CPC) and official launch of the new book Xi Jinping: The Governance of China II. Last month China held the19th National Congress of the CPC where Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era was officially written into the CPC constitution. President Xi Jinping also presented a report which drew up a blueprint for China’s future development and basic policy underpinning China’s national development and foreign policy.

The report by President Xi is relevant to South Africa and the continent as it addressed key issues of governance such as poverty reduction, economic reform, the Belt and Road Initiative, the goal of building a community of a shared future for mankind, and a new vision for better China and better World. This dialogue will therefore examine and explore the outcomes of the 19th National Congress of CPC, synergies for a better China, South Africa, and Africa, and strategies of deepening and broadening China-South Africa win-win cooperation for common development.
