This presentation will report on case studies of municipalities in Limpopo province on behalf of the Limpopo Office of the Premier.  The aim of the research was to identify baseline targets and performance indicators that can be used to evaluate progress towards the objective of “Institutional Efficiency and Effectiveness” in the province’s Provincial Growth and Development Strategy. 

Strategic planning exercises were performed at a selection of municipalities and the technique used, the findings and the recommendations will be discussed in this presentation.
