As part of a mission-oriented policy research project, the Human Sciences Research Council (HSRC) will host an online training session on the Delphi study methodology on 19 March 2026 at 11:00 (Pretoria Time).
A Delphi study is a research method used to gather and refine expert opinions through a series of structured survey rounds. It is widely used in policy and research to help build consensus on complex issues and identify priorities.
The session will be convened by Dr Vuyo Mjimba (HSRC) and facilitated by Prof. Remi Fatai, with a focus on the practical design and application of Delphi studies in policy and research. To strengthen methodological capacity, 15 places are available for colleagues from the HSRC and partner research organisations who are not part of the research team but would like to learn more about the Delphi approach.
