The Department of Science, Technology and Innovation (DSTI), in partnership with the CSIR and the Human Sciences Research Council (HSRC), invites you to a virtual webinar/workshop to discuss opportunities and constraints to the uptake of skilled postgraduate students in the South African waste sector.
The HSRC recently completed a Track-and-Trace study for the DSTI, to assess the success of the Waste RDI Roadmap in supporting young postgraduate students and their subsequent uptake into the sector post their studies. This webinar will present the key findings of this study. The event will also provide space for business and government to raise their issues and concerns regarding employing young, skilled graduates into the waste sector.
