The Academy of Science of South Africa (ASSAf), in collaboration with the Human Sciences Research Council (HSRC) invites you to the second webinar in the WEBINAR SERIES: 30 Years into Democracy: Obstacles, Successes, and Prospects
Given the commemoration of three decades of democracy, ASSAf seeks to explore the progress made in pursuit of transformation in various perspectives, such as the holistic inclusion of persons with disabilities and gender, the youth perspectives on democratic South Africa. A webinar series will be undertaken, focusing on evidence and lived experience concerning the advancement of equality and human dignity under the rising influence of polycrisis. As a young democracy, the series will emphasise the youth’s role as South Africa’s future custodians in overcoming inequality and socioeconomic constraints.
