Thembelihle Ginyana is a PhD research trainee at the Human Science Research Council (HSRC), a PhD candidate at the University of the Western Cape (UWC) in Demography and Population Studies, focusing on Sexual Reproductive Health (SRH) and Public Health at the HSRC. Her PhD work highlights the importance of condom use among men and women as one of the strategies to combat the HIV epidemic as part of achieving the 2030 SDGs. In her HSRC work, she has managed to co-author in journal articles, led and co-authored in policy briefs, contributed to research reports, and conducted data collection. She has also participated in two conferences where she presented her reasearch work.
