Bonginkosi Ngwenya is a master's research trainee in the AISA division at the Human Sciences Research Council (HSRC). With scholarly and social interest in peace and security, governance, monitoring and evaluation, public finance management, public leadership and local governance, public policy, biodiversity management, and environmental policy. He is currently doing his MA in Public Administration, with a BA Hons in Public Management and Governance from the University of Johannesburg. Bonginkosi has also conducted research in the sector of botany and zoology under the South African National Biodiversity Institute (SANBI), conducting coastal audits both in the Atlantic and Indian Ocean in collaboration with the Department of Agriculture, Environmental Affairs, Rural Development, and Land Reform (DAERL) in the Northern Cape Province.
