Central African Republic President to host CAR Information Day in Pretoria

The Embassy of the Central African Republic (CAR) to South Africa in collaboration with the Human Sciences Research Council (HSRC) cordially invite you to the Central African Republic Information Day.

Venue:        Burgers Park Hotel, cnr Lillian Ngoyi and Minnaar Street, Pretoria

Titled Central African Republic: From Crisis to Peace and Sustainable Development – The Way Forward, this rare occasion will be addressed by CAR President, H.E. Mrs Catherine Samba Panza.

The event will also feature various CAR senior officials who will engage the audience on the following issues:

  • The political and peace process (dialogue and reconciliation, elections, DDR)
  • Economic situation (economic potentials, reforms, development programmes)
  • Investment perspectives and doing business in CAR

A questions and answer session will be organised with the following CAR ministers and authorities:

Minister of Defence, Minister of Trade and Industry, Minister of Mining, Minister of Tourism as well as the advisor for Economic Affairs and Private Sector Actors.

The Central African Republic Embassy to South Africa would like to utilise this opportunity to avail itself and to renew its diplomatic relations with the South African Department of International Relations and Cooperation and all Diplomatic Missions represented in South Africa.

This invitation is extended to all members of the media; members of the South African Government; Members of Parliament; members of the City of Tshwane Metropolitan Municipality; leaders of political parties; actors in the private sector; heads of diplomatic missions; religious leaders, as well as NGOs and INGOs.
