The overall aim of producing the report is to provide empirical evidence on the state of children in South Africa for local, national, regional and international advocacy, while the specific objectives are as follows: 1. To identify the factors that influence the wellbeing, protection of children and their leadership and excellence development; 2. To identify challenges of service delivery by NMCF partners for children and youth and provide recommendations for dealing with the challenges; and 3. To provide an extensive reflection on the lessons emerging from NMCF approaches and innovations used in addressing vulnerabilities of children.
