The broad aim of the study was to review the current DPSA ESS questionnaire. The main aim of this report is to provide the ESS pilot survey results of the public servants who participated in the study in Gauteng. The results of the survey are not representative of the population of public servants in Gauteng and can therefore not be generalized to all public servants working there. In other words, the results only reflect the views of those respondents who participated in the study.
