In July 2012, the Electoral Commission of South Africa (IEC) presented its new organisational strategic vision known as Vision 2018. This Vision 2018 laid out the new mission and values for the organisation as well as how these would facilitate the realisation of the IECs legal mandate. Furthermore, Vision 2018 outlined the IECs Vision strategic objectives.
