“SA primary school learners have experienced sexual violence”

Over 40% of South Africa’s primary school learners have experienced sexual violence.

This is according to a new report by the Human Sciences Research Council (HSRC) in partnership with Grassroot Soccer and Soul City Institute.

The ”Sexual Violence in Schools in South Africa” report reveals that such violence would normally occur in classrooms, sports fields or in bathrooms.
