Addressing barriers to women’s re-entry into the labour force, particularly after childbearing

The high levels of women’s underemployment indicate that when women leave the labour force, it is often difficult for them to re-enter. There is thus an urgent need to address the barriers to women’s re-entry into the labour force, particularly if they left work because of childbearing responsibilities.
