You are invited to participate in a stakeholder workshop forming part of the baseline study on the North West provincial innovation system. Commissioned by the Department of Science, Technology and Innovation (DSTI), the study was conducted by the Human Sciences Research Council (HSRC) in collaboration with the North West Office of the Premier and the Council for Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR). The study aims to develop a comprehensive understanding of the province’s innovation landscape by mapping key actors, assessing capabilities, and identifying opportunities, gaps and systemic constraints. This workshop will present the key findings and provide a platform for stakeholders to validate and refine insights, identify priorities, explore collaboration and policy alignment, and contribute to actionable recommendations and monitoring indicators. Your participation is valued and will help ensure that the outcomes are both contextually grounded and practically relevant.
