The Human Sciences Research Council (HSRC) and the University of Johannesburg (UJ) invite you to a webinar titled Whose knowledge counts? Epistemic justice in South African higher education. It will interrogate the continued dominance of the Western canon in higher education, critique Global South framings of development, and expose the fragility of current transformation efforts. The webinar seeks to advance a more inclusive, socially just, and relevant approach to higher education, one that builds greater autonomy in research funding, epistemology, and curricula.
