The HSRC would like to invite you to join our capacity development workshop on systematic literature reviews on 21 July 2026. This virtual capacity development session hosted by the Equitable Food Value Chains research hub aims to strengthen participants’ ability to conduct systematic literature reviews and related evidence synthesis approaches.

As research evidence continues to grow, researchers need practical skills to identify credible literature, critically assess evidence, synthesise findings, and identify knowledge gaps that can inform research, policy, and practice. Through a participatory and developmental learning approach, participants will explore systematic and evidence reviews with hands-on practical exercises, peer-to-peer learning, and collaborative reflection. The session will address how to find relevant literature, select appropriate review methods, and synthesise evidence to generate meaningful insights.
