A PAN Children & Programme to Support Pro-Poor Policy Development Panel Discussion

Date: 24 October 2016
Time: 10h00 to 14h00 with a networking lunch
Venue: VCRs, Pretoria, Cape Town and Durban

Research has shown that leadership is an important factor in ensuring that schools are successful. Schools which are successful in terms of academic performance have been found to have strong leadership, governance and management structures in place. This directly relates to life chances for children and prospects for escaping poverty traps.  It is with this in mind that PAN Children in partnership with the Programme to Support Pro Poor Policy Development (PSPPD) has organised a panel discussion to document this subject.

The panel discussion will feed into the development of a topical guide on this subject area.  A topical guide is a concise, high level reference document on various issues affecting children’s rights and wellbeing. The topical guide will be published as a collaborative venture.  Join the discussion and share your experiences.
