Invitation to a panel discussion entitled “Racism: a Threat to Democratic Societies”

The European Union Delegation to South Africa, in association with the Institute for Justice and Reconciliation (IJR) and the Anti-Racism Network of South Africa (ARNSA), invite you to the panel discussion entitled “Racism: a Threat to Democratic Societies”.

Parliamentary Portfolio Committee Chairperson, the Honourable Dr Mathole Motshekga (MP) and Arts and Culture Minister, the Honourable Nathi Mthethwa (MP) will join Mr Michaël Privot, Director of the European Network Against Racism and the Honourable Ms Cécile Kashetu Kyenge, Italian Member of the European Parliament, in an interactive panel discussion focusing on the threats posed by racism to democratic societies. Mr Stanley Henkeman, Executive Director of the Institute for Justice and Reconciliation will moderate the dialogue.
