The Faculty of Health Sciences, University of the Witwatersrand, Johannesburg and the Steve Biko Centre for Bioethics invite you to attend an evening of eflection and debate on “Sharing Healthcare Resources” as part of our activities for Ethics Alive 2012.

The Faculty of Health Sciences at the University of the Witwatersrand, Johannesburg is hosting its annual Ethics Alive week from 12 – 16 March 2012.  One of the activities of the week-long event is the Ethics Alive Symposium.  The theme for this year is “Sharing Healthcare Resources” and is a response to the National Health Insurance (NHI) Green Paper.  Our speakers will talk on the realities, economics and legalities of implementing the universal healthcare coverage and the NHI in South Africa.

I would like to invite all your colleagues at the HSRC to the Symposium on 14 March 2012 at the Faculty of the Health Sciences and was advised to contact you about this event.  The event is CPD accredited and there is no registration cost.  Please could you forward this Ethics Alive invitation to your colleagues at the HSRC and other contacts you may have.
