The 9th World Congress on Developmental Origins of Health and Disease (DOHaD) will be held in Cape Town, South Africa, from November 9-11, 2015. The congress is hosted by the University of Witwatersrand and the University of Cape Town. The theme of the 2015 conference is combating the transgenerational risk of non-communicable disease in transitioning societies. All scientists, clinical researchers, obstetricians, pediatricians, public health professionals and policy leaders are invited to attend.

HSRC will participate in particular at the Early Childhood Development satellite workshop.
