Professor Tendayi Sithole will critically engage with Biko’s radical ideas on power and resistance, providing new insights into contemporary struggles in South Africa, including issues related to land ownership, media control, shared resources, and controversies surrounding the historical record. Sithole is a professor in the Department of Political Sciences at the University of South Africa and the recipient of the 2025 Nicolás Cristóbal Guillén Batista Outstanding Achievement Award from the Caribbean Philosophical Association
